| The
Stable / Common Hall |

|
Its
origins goes back to the early '900 and
at that time it was considered to be a
stable to be taken as example for modernity
and efficiency. All rooms placed at ground
floor were used until 1980 by our family
as stables for the cattle of the valuable
race "Chianina".
After
a long period not in use, in 2004 the
rooms were completely renovated taking
care to preserve all the evidences of
a distant world that now arouses "nostalgia". |
The
mangers are original, as some parts of
the old stone floor, the main entrance
door and the beautiful internal door in
chestnut-wood of the 1700, the vaulted
brick.
Many
objects and working tools that are inside
the "stalla" were part of our
old way of living and working.
Here, time seems to have stopped. One
has the impression of going back in time,
till that country way of life, when the
sun was the clock of the day. |

|
Today
the stable, with its large fireplace,
is used for the tasting of our products,
such as extavirgin olive oil, ou vegetables,
fruits, mushrooms, or handmade pasta
produced by the expert hands of Mrs.
Mirella.
It
is also equipped to organize cooking
courses and other educational activities.
